Detour is a Main Quest in Outriders. This quest tasks players to escort Grand Marshal Corrigan and the prisoner to Trench Town. Main Quests focuses on the main campaign of the game, players are required to complete these in order to advance the game's plot and to unlock new and more features such as Locations, NPCs, Weapons, Armor, Enemies, Bosses, more Side Quests, and more.

 

Grand Marshal Corrigan seems to be the only one who can get your convoy past the minefield on the road that leads to the forest. His associate, Marshal Bailey, has offered to introduce you to Corrigan if you help her transport her prisoner to Trench Town, where he resides.

Detour Walkthrough

Clear a Path

  • Upon arriving at Deadrock Pass, make sure to explore the area first and complete any side quests available. If you're ready, speak to Jakub.
  • The objective is simple, clear the area as you escort the Grand Marshal and the prisoner to Trench Town.
  • There are three chests here that you can find, first, head inside the open shelter next to the gate to find a loot chest. Second, approach the left side of the gate to find the chest next to a yellow light source and finally, head downhill to find the loot chest beside a truck that's blocking the way to Trench Town.
  • You'll be fighting against Outlaws and Marauders here which are slightly different from the Insurgents. You'll complete this quest upon reaching Trench Town.
