Divine Intervention is a Side Quest in Outriders. This quest tasks players to investigate and eliminate the cause of the disappearances of Captain Dunham's soldiers in the mountains. A side quest focuses on adding and unlocking more details to the lore of the game, allowing you to better understand the environment of the game, as well as the various supporting elements in it. Side Quests are important as well since they can provide you with rewards such as EXP and loot.
Captain Dunham has been having a hard time holding Eagle Peaks. To compoundd the injuries and casualties on the frontline, she has been hemorrhaging soldiers who have been wandering off into the mountains, never coming back. Exploring the nearby area could reveal what happened to those soldiers.

Divine Intervention Walkthrough
- The quest is activated after the defeat of Molten Acari during the Inferno Main Quest. To begin the quest, speak to Jocelyn Dunham at the Camp in Eagle Peaks. She wants you to investigate the disappearances of her soldiers in the mountains.
- Travel to the Mountain Ropebridge within Eagle Peaks and enter the Divine Intervention Area. Continue forward until a cutscene is initiated. This will reveal the practices of a new cult and its cult leader. Clear the area of the cultists and proceed forward.
- Continue to clear the area to eventually progress forward into the caves. This is where the Cult Leader will be located. Clear the area, clear the path and eliminate the Cult Leader.
- Report back to Captain Dunham to complete the quest.
