Expedition is a Main Quest in Outriders. This quest tasks players to gather Lithium for Zaehdi. Main Quests focuses on the main campaign of the game, players are required to complete these in order to advance the game's plot and to unlock new and more features such as Locations, NPCs, Weapons, Armor, Enemies, Bosses, more Side Quests, and more.
Zahedi has figured out a way to protect the deadly fungus in the forest and allow you to reach the signal's source, coming from the forest or beyond. By sealing the truck airtight and recycling the air, you can make it through.
However, to generate oxygen, Zahedi requires a supply of lithium. He believes you can find some in the batteries left behind in the old machines scattered around the Quarry.

Expedition Walkthrough
Gather Lithium
- You'll acquire this quest once you leave for the Quarry, after completing the quest, Onslaught. Follow the waypoint and clear all the enemies in the swamp. And after that's done, clear the area to proceed to the next section. You'll then need to clear out enemies again in the area and then clear out the debris to continue forward.
- Next, you will reach the outpost which is heavily guarded by more enemies. Kill them all and enter the door of the outpost. Make your way below and clear out the enemies in the nest. After that's done, clear the rocks to continue towards the next section.
- You'll now reach the Bunker, head up and kill all the enemies and lower the bridge. Be cautious here since most of the enemies you will encounter are Elite enemies. Make your way to the top of the bunker to find the gate's controls.
- A cutscene will trigger once you lower the bridge. Afterward, your next task is to retrieve lithium for Zahedi. Follow the waymarker towards the Quarry and clear the section, then open the gate to proceed towards the next area.
- In the open field, you'll fight against Maulers and once you kill them all, an Elite enemy called the Behemoth will spawn. It is a bigger and stronger variant than the average Mauler. Kill it and its reinforcements, clear the area and gather the lithium that's behind the other gate.
- Once you have the item, head back to the camp and give the lithium to Zahedi. Another cutscene will trigger when you're back. You'll complete this quest when you speak to Jakub and ask him to leave for the Forest.
Loot Chests
- Check the right side before heading down the steps in the Outpost.
- Before going into the nest, you'll find a hole in the wall to the left. Shoot the gas tanks to blow up a hole in the wall. You'll find a chest behind it.
- You'll find a loot chest near the first gate when you collect the lithium.
- There's one inside a cave next to the second lithium.
- Check behind the crate after opening the gate where you'll find the third lithium.
