Eye of the Storm is an Expedition Quest in Outriders. Expeditions or Expedition Quests is a post-campaign feature that provides players with tough and challenging quests. Upon completing the main campaign, new and mysterious points of interest will appear across Enoch that present new content such as added stories, more loot, resources, and equipment to find, as well as facing off against the fiercest and brutal foes that are yet to come.

 

 Minimum Tier: 15

 Drop Pod Resources Required: 40000

 

  Channa had a disturbing vision about the permanent storm that has been gathering on the horizon. If what she saw is true, this may prove the greatest and most challenging trial of your journey.

 

Eye of the Storm Rewards and Loot

Expedition rewards are obtained at the end of the quest once the Drop Pod is looted. During these quests, enemies will not drop any loot. The Quest run is timed and completing the quest within the given time limits would reward players with more valuable rewards and a higher chance of reaping Legendary rewards. Increasing the Challenge Tier to the highest available difficulty would also increase the drop rate percentages. Only choosing the highest available tier and completing the quest at a bronze level or above will reward players with a  +1 Challenge Tier increase. 

The rewards are drawn by chance, but expedition quests can be repeated when it is available for another chance to obtain a Legendary or Epic reward. Each run will reap a different set of rewards. Resources such as  Titanium and  Drop Pod Resources can usually also be obtained when completing these quests. The timer will be shown below the minimap during each expedition quest and will also indicate the current tier the player is in with the time that they have left before the tier is dropped.

Eye of the Storm Walkthrough

• Begin the expedition by entering the Eye of the Storm. 
• Clear the area of enemies to progress and clear any obstacles in your path. 
• Once the area is cleared, follow the expedition quest marker on your minimap.
• The objective is to Face Yagak in the final Battle.  Yagak Reborn will keep spawning enemies and orbs that act as turrets. Pay attention to his movements as well to evade his attacks. Continue to focus your attacks on Yagak. 
• Eliminate Yagak to trigger a cutscene. 
• Approach the Drop Pod to complete the quest and collect the resources to claim your reward.
