Mayhem is a Main Quest in Outriders. This quest tasks players to kill the beast that has intercepted the truck. Main Quests focuses on the main campaign of the game, players are required to complete these in order to advance the game's plot and to unlock new and more features such as Locations, NPCs, Weapons, Armor, Enemies, Bosses, more Side Quests, and more.
A giant creature intercepted your truck, breaking open the seal and exposing everyone inside the fungus. But you can't think about that now. The creature is bearing down on you.

Mayhem Walkthrough
- This quest is unlocked after completing the main quest Expedition and upon asking Jakub to leave for the Forest Enclave. This quest is pretty straightforward, during the cutscene, en route to the forest, a giant monster intercepts the truck. You will need to enter its lair and kill the Chrysaloid.
- Be sure to make further preparations before heading inside the lair. Since you'll fight the boss as soon as you enter. The lair is an open area and there are no cover zones that you can use to defend yourself. So the best way to fight the boss is to use either an Assault or Sniper weapon against it so you can fight from mid to long-range. This boss battle is also divided into two phases.
- For phase one, try to position yourself at the corners of the lair, stay at the sides so that you can avoid getting hit by its breath attack which is a long red vertical zone that appears on the area. It will also try to hit you with its hands, so be cautious and ready to dodge when needed.
- As the fight progresses, it will eventually break through the lair, especially when you deplete all of its health in the first bar. In the second phase, be ready to dodge a lot because it will throw rocks at you/ Keep an eye out for the red circle zones that appear on the ground to identify where the rocks will land.
- Apart from that, it will also try to attack you with its mouth, this happens when one huge red circular zone appears where you are standing. If this happens, sprint underneath it and shoot the boss. Once you kill the boss, collect the loot and return back to the truck to complete this quest.
