Outriders Demo is a special Outriders Beta available for free to any insterested players. The Outriders Demo and Beta includes a glimpse of the game's full systems, providing enemy encounters, loot and a Beta Environment for the multiplayer aspects of the game

The Outriders Demo runs from February 25th, 2021
What is the download size?
The download size for the demo will be:
- PC: Minimum 24GB (possibly more after decompression)
- Consoles: Minimum 22GB (possibly more after decompression)
Can I transfer my progress/data?
You will be able to transfer your progress if you play the main game on the SAME platform account (Platforms are PlayStation / Xbox / Steam). Progress will not transfer between the Demo on Steam and the Full Game on the Epic Store. Apart from that, the demo will not include any trophies or achievements, but your in-game accolades will transfer along with your regular progress.
Who Can Play the Outsiders Demo?
Anyone can access the demo, as it is free. It will be available on all game platforms: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Stadia
Is there a time limit for the Demo?
There is no time limit. It is planned to be available until the full game is launched.
Can I Stream the Demo?
According to the developers, yes, you can stream any part of the demo with no restrictions. Just keep in mind that there is a trailer that plays at the end of the demo. As this trailer contains licensed music, caution is recommended when streaming this section.
Outriders Demo Content
Classes
All four Classes will be available for players to choose from in the Demo, these classes are Trickster, Devastator, Pyromancer, and Technomancer. And there will be 6 available character slots that you can use to create more characters, allowing you to try out all of the classes.
Single-Player or Multiplayer
Before you start the game and choose to play via Multiplayer, you must choose your Class. From there, you can start the game via Single-Player or Multiplayer. At any time, you can switch between the two, and if you are playing co-op mode, you can invite two more players to form a team of three members. Just take note that when you are playing in co-op, the difficulty gets higher, but at the same time, the loot you acquire is better.
World Tier
Players can progress up to World Tier 5. World Tier is the dynamic difficulty system of the game. At level 5, your chance for higher rarity gear is increased, but the drop chance for Legendary Gear is still extremely low. Learn more about World Tier by checking our World Tier page.
Skills & Character Level
Your Character levels are capped to Level 7. This will allow you to earn your chosen class's 4th ability and be able to mix and match your active skills in the demo. This will also allow you to earn 2 Class Points that you can apply to your Traits.
Crossplay
The demo supports a Crossplay experience in its beta feature, meaning the game allows you to play with your friends and matchmake with other players who are playing the demo on a different platform. By default, when you start the demo, the crossplay function will be toggled off, so if you want to enable crossplay, head over to the Options > Gameplay > and toggle on "Enable Crossplay". You can play with other players who are on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Series X.
Demo Quests
The Outriders Demo features the Prologue and Opening Chapter of the game for the main campaign, and apart from that, there will be Side Quests that are replayable. The demo runs up until the showdown with Gauss, the first rival Altered who may be even more dangerous than you. Some side missions unlock after defeating Gauss so you will be able to go back and explore the world.
Character Customization
The demo features character customization where you can create the look of your character and alter it at any given time when you are at your camp. Choose various hairstyles, make-up, and cosmetics such as piercings, markings, hair color, war paints, and more.
