Dying Wish is a Side Quest in Outriders. This quest tasks players to find out why the explosives from the dying miner's plan did not work. A side quest focuses on adding and unlocking more details to the lore of the game, allowing you to better understand the environment of the game, as well as the various supporting elements in it. Side Quests are important as well since they can provide you with rewards such as EXP and loot.
A wounded miner told you of the Insurgents who took over the Quarry and murdered everyone. He pointed you to a line snaking into the mine, leading to explosives that will ensure the Insurgents down there will never come back up. The miner tried the plunger but it doesn't work. He suspects the line was cut or damaged. Find it and repair it.

Dying Wish Walkthrough
- This quest can be activated during the Expedition Main Quest after setting up camp. Talk to Jabari Achebe at the Riverbed in Quarry to begin the quest. He will be seated on the floor in the middle of the mine area outside. He wants you to follow the line to find out why the explosives they planted did not detonate.
- Follow the line to the spot indicated by the quest indicator on the minimap to repair the damaged parts of the line.
- Repair the first damaged area then raise the container indicated by the area objective marker to proceed to the next area.
- Repair the rest of the damaged line and return to Jabari to complete the quest.
